Cassie thinks that’s what they are because that is what they resemble. Others believe they are aliens at war and they are helplessly marooned with them.Meanwhile, the military aparatus is outside The Zone attempting to undo the damage, even as virtually every branch of the Federal Government decends upon the coastal community of Ventura, California.
